The way to Remagnetize Magnets

1 Locate a neodymium magnet. They are magnets created from neodymium, iron and boron. They can be bought in science supply shops or online. 2 Identify your old magnet's poles. All magnets possess a north and south pole. Contrary to everyday opinion, these poles tend to be on the long, flat sides with the magnet, this is not on either end. 3 Determine the neodymium magnet's poles. Occasionally they will be marked. If not, locate a compass. The medial side the needle points to will be the south pole of the magnet, because ferrite magnets opposites attract. 4 Rub one pole of this neodymium magnet resistant to the opposite pole of your old magnet. The edges that attract the other person are the types that will recharge each other. Repeat N38 neodymium magnets with all the opposite side.
